Alf

This is Alf (alien life form) the main character on a TV series from the 80’s. Remember the show? It was a comedy that we liked. Now he sits on top our bookcase watching for cats. He likes to eat them. It’s ok because we don’t have any cats. Just a dog.

Driving Around

Ok. So we don’t learn. Here it is Labor Day weekend and at the last minute decided to take a ride and have a picnic. Drove around and even the picnic tables at the parks were taken. So we ended up just parking along an entrance to a dam overlook at Canyon Lake. But the good thing is we got some beautiful pictures. Joe took them. Don't' you feel like you're peeking?

Joe says: Ok, So I guess this is a situation where the glass is either half empty or half full. On the half full side we live in a diverse geographic area with a desert to the west, a coast line to the south, hills and valleys to the north, and pine forest to the east. On this adventure we took to the hills north and east of Boerne, across Farm to Market road (FM) 473. My favorite spot was Greens Bottom where the Little Blanco River crosses FM32. A prehistoric looking spot in the river where, with a little imagination, a dinosaur may be waiting for you just up ahead.
