Not Pasta

I found this in my freezer and thought we'd have it for yesterday dinner. It looked different but I thought we would give it a try. So I followed directions and microwaved it. I added cheddar cheese cause it didn't appear to have enough cheese. Isn't macaroni and cheese have more cheese? So I added more. It didn't hit me till today that the bag in the freezer was not macaroni and cheese. It was corn with cream sauce. Yesterday it looked like macaroni and cheese to me.  I should have read the package and not just looked at the picture without my reading glasses on.

You Can Be Anything You Want To Be

"Should we tell him he is just a door stop or a boot scraper?" asked Mr. D.
"Do you think he can hear us?" asked Ada.

Who Rates

Ada just came in and let me know I was sitting in 'her' chair (at the computer table ) so I told her to go sit in Joe's chair. She went over and tried for one minute but just wasn't the same so she got off the chair and went behind the printer. She was making noises like she was chewing the cords. I got up to stop her and to get her out. I said, "Get out of there!" So she did. She went over to my chair and made herself comfy. So I'm reduced to Joe's chair which isn't as comfortable. I was moving Joe's chair around to get stuff and she made a noise like I'm making too much noise. She was all comfy for the second time when Joe came home. She took one look and saw Joe heading for the family room so she went down there to climb on his lap. 

Now we know who rates. But in the end I got my chair.

Bad Kitty

Who chewed the cord to the Wii? Who chewed the string to the blouse tassel? We think we know which cat did it but how do you get them to stop?

"I didn't do it," said Darwin. "Ada did it. I'll just hide down in the basket till this blows over."

"I swear that I did not do it," says Ada as she sits on a Dictionary. "I'm innocent till proven guilty." 

She doesn't know that this is for humans not cats. 

Dust, Dust, Dust, our Table Legs

Alright Mr. D, as long as you are on the floor, why not get under the table and swish your tail around so I don't have to dust that area. He has a beautiful tail that looks like a brush.

Cat and Guinea Pig

"Can't we be friends? I'll let you use the Cat House." says Mr. D.

Guinea Pig just smiles a wicked sort of smile, "He doesn't know I already use it when he's asleep."

Hot Chocolate

This was a hot chocolate from a package with dry ingredients. I fixed it backwards. Sometimes you really do need to follow directions. I wonder what happened to the marshmallows.

No Easter Candy for Me

It's Easter and the chocolate bunnies are here. This one is for Betty, Joe's sister. It's hard to see the big ears because the light is reflecting off the plastic. Poor Betty didn't get to eat it today as she has the flu.

Extra Eyes? Or it just looks that way.

Ada likes to sleep on her scratch pad. She is also a strange case. She was born with less fur above her eyes. So when her eyes are closed the area above her eyes look like eyes. Cool!

Ghost Kitty.

Joe took this picture. I like it cause it is a combo of reflection and actual. Sometimes it is hard to pick out what is reflection and what is actual. As is life  we get confused.

Cat and Mouse Games.

Mr. D says, "I got the computer but where did that mouse go?"

The thing on the left side is a fishing pole. They did have more but I guess they must of had enough fish. Or not enough and moved to a different place.

This is Goose Island Texas and they have camp sites right on the water.

If you don't look, you will not see.

Sometimes it's better to turn around once in a while. This kitty is missing the pelican. The pelican is floating.

Winter Camping.

Joe did laundry for the first time at this campground. When he took it out of the dryer some felt damp.  He brought it home (the RV is called home also). I folded and laid all the ones not done out. You'd think this would't help but this bathroom is like a sauna. When the furnace is on it blows more in there than the other rooms. So when I got up this morning I checked the stacks and everything was dry. If you look at the picture I have one stack of cloths on the toilet and three stacks on the sink area. I had a round metal rack which fit the sink pretty well. The stacks got warm because the clothes really weren't wet. Just really cold.

The pink stuff in the plastic jugs is antifreeze. We will keep it around to flush.  It is important to keep watch in the winter that nothing freezes like the pipes. We keep the RV inside warm or full of antifreeze so the pipes don't freeze.

We came south to get warm but it will be a couple days before it starts warming up. It's better than the north.

Fish Out of Water

Fish out of water needs more than sun glasses. Here we are at a Mexican restaurant, Chuys. We were there with Richard's in-laws. It took a while to get a table cause we needed one that sat eight. Then I didn't read the menu well enough and ended up with a "hot" meal. One tiny bite and my mouth was on fire. I should have known better.  Next time I will read more carefully.
