How Things Change

OK guys. We need to go get Our Duck out of the Warning/Caution zone. We can do this. Our Trainer doesn't want us to but we can't leave him in there. The needs of the one outweigh the needs of the many.

Trainer passes out because Little Duck has the quote wrong. It should be the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one.

But it worked and Our Duck got rescued and everyone ran to the nearest pond to have a celebration swim. Except Trainer who was totally bummed out that the quote will be remembered wrong.

And I guess that is how quotes change from one mouth to another.

See Trainer in upper left. He is thinking that he should have told them about the other pond that has a lid.

Yikes!

I have to tell you strange things are happening. The other day I saw something on our picnic table and walked closer to get a better look. It turned out to be just a couple tarps Joe folded and didn't put away. But I glanced over to the grill, there was a bumble bee hovering over the grill. I quickly backed away. Then another came out of nowhere and they made circles around the grill. I had to test it. I stepped closer. The guard bee stopped circling and hovered over the grill and if I know bee body language he was saying, "Go ahead. Make my day." So I stepped forward. (I was curious, OK?)   The other bee showed back up and they started circling again. I stepped back fast and then the one bee went someplace and the guard was again in place. I ran inside to tell Joe what I'd discovered. Wow.

The other day when we had an earthquake (Yes it was originated in Michigan but wanted to share some with us) I noticed all the bumble bees were flying around in circles. The earthquake had made them think someone was messing with their hive I guess. Wow. Amazing things happening right here in Nothing Exciting Ever Happens Here land.

Here is a bumble bee guard.

I guess we won't be having any hamburgers for awhile.
