What is this? Can mice get that big?

They say if you see one there are lots more you aren't seeing. I did see one or two so maybe this is their way of scaring me away. They must have thought they better make it extra big.

Actually those three 'pellets' are really chocolate covered almonds.

Anybody see my oven?

Where oh where has my little oven gone. Where oh where can it be.  Actually I know where it went. Joe bought a lovely convection oven. I've never used one before but was doubtfully going to try. But it turned out the door has problems. The hinges are slightly off so the door doesn't seal. We found that there are a lot of others with the same problem. One person said because of the door being not sealed that the oven wouldn't hold a temperature. So the store came out and picked it up. This is a very heavy oven. It was not easy to put in this space. But sometimes you just got to do it. Convection ovens are more expensive so  by returning it we got another oven that is just a plain oven. You don't see it here because they had to order it. It seems places don't stock much. We will also get a new cooktop.

I guess we will be using the microwave for a while. Maybe the crock pot also.
