You see me, not

Do backups and know where you put the disks or you will be remembering your trips like this picture!

Every time we camp we take lots of pictures. Now with digital cameras it is easy to move these pictures to a computer. There is no need to wait for the film to be developed and the pictures printed. I’ve got several books filled with printed pictures and labeled so we will know the date. One day I decided to organize the pictures on the computer and I spent a lot of time arranging the pictures by year and scanned in a lot of the old print ones. I thought it would be more secure and could use them easier for posting future blogs. Well guess what? We changed computers and somehow can’t locate the hard drive that had all the pictures on it! I’ve looked all over and can’t find it. I also remember backing it up to a disk and can’t find that either. Make backups of your pictures and make sure you know where you put the backup! So today all I have of the past is in books. I’m still looking for those digital missing years though.

Frogs, 2006

I only allow frogs in the camper that know how to cook.

Wayback in 2006 in Florida. One morning I found a small green frog in the shower vent. Luckily it couldn't get into the shower because there was a screen to keep it out. Joe said it would die there. He thought it couldn't get out. I told him it got in, it can get out. Sure enough the next day it was gone. I'm glad because it was a cute little frog. Years ago when we camped with a pop-up camper and had to use the campgrounds baths and showers, you would always have to shower with insects and frogs. They are cute little things, but I don't want them in here with me. One day while I was in the laundry room some little girls came squealing out of the restrooms because there was a frog that had jumped onto their things. I didn’t blame them. I’d of squealed too.
